Dragonfly is a Desktop Application

There’s a lot of talk about the cloud these days and for a lot of mainstream software it makes sense for it to be done on the cloud. We don’t believe the cloud makes sense for point-of-sale software for the Sewing, Vacuum, and Quilting industry. Quality internet is a must for cloud-based software and not everyone has reliable internet at their store or when they go on the road to a show. Many people don’t want their sensitive financial and customer data mixed in a huge database with other stores. Lastly many people don’t want their employees being able to login from home anytime they want into the stores point of sale software. If you want to use access your point-of-sale software when you are at home or on the road there are many great ways to easily do that with locally based software. Ask Us! Dragonfly runs in your store with your sensitive data housed on one of your computers. Dragonfly provides automatic backup either to a local external hard drive, thumb drive or even to your own cloud-based storage if you prefer that option.

  • Control the contents, column width and order and column headings for the many data tables used in the application
  • Ability to create reports on all the data in the system
